Tachometer Reading High

[Snipe]

Just had the rectifier/regulator replaced on a 3 cyl. 50 hp Mariner 1987. Now the tach reads what appears to be double. Where to look.

Ck the plugins, call the place that install it and tell them the problem if they are any kind of a good shop they will want to know
