I've been looking for an OEM tach for a couple of months. It needs to fit and boat with a '79 100hp Erude. I finaly found one that came off a newer rig, say '98. The guy tells me it needs an adaptor, now I can't figger out what he means. Will it work with this motor? I'm thinking it will, but don't want to buy it if it won't. Tia.<br />Chief
