Re: New 2021 Tahoe1950 deckboat

I haven’t tried the sink until today. I filled the watertank to full and toggled the switch to on. The pump starts but after 1-2 seconds the fuse is blown. I disconnected the electrical connector to the pump. I ohmed the pump side and it didnt show any reading. I also checked the connector side to power and it was reading 12v. In the fuse box, it had a 5amp fuse. If I retry it will blow the fuse. Did anyone else’s Tahoe come with a higher amp fuse? Anyone else run into this problem?

Look at the pump it should have the amps listed on it. If not get the model number and look up the specs

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... It sounds like both the wire from the fuel tank sender, 'n yer pump are seein' a dead short to ground, so I'd try to find someplace those wires run near each other,.....

If you have a switch on the sink to turn it ON like my Rinker, its just Hot and Ground. Hot is switched
