Taking her out.

I'm new to boating and I'm taking my 2001 Galstron 175sx volvo 4.3 penta out on the lake for the first time tomorrow,any advice or tips?
Note it has been winterized.

If that new boat breaks down or you wanna get some great advice on tuning her up...come on back and post her..

Have fun..remember the pointy end goes away from land ggoing out..and towards land coming back! lol

Go up to the Adults Only sticky at the top of this forum and have a look at the "Summerization" how to.

Hopefiully you can launch at a ramp thats not so buisy that you have to rush.
Don't forget the plug!
Let the boat sit on the trailer in the water, start the engine and observe for 5 or 10 mins while she warms up.
Make a couple high speed runs, stay near the launch until your sure everything is good.
