Taking my new boat in for service/inspection tomorrow, what should I have done?

We bought the boat last week and ran it before we bought it. The throttle cable seemed a little stiff so they are going to adjust it. We are also having the impeller changed out because I think ours is about 3 or 4 years old. The engine oil and outdrive were changed last year and have only been used twice so I think it is fine. Are there any other things I should have them check? They are going to run a compression test to verify compression. the boat started right up and ran fine, but just nice to know. Any other things I should have done to have a safe and reliable boating summer?

Did you get the engine manual and outdrive service manual?

You can check the required maintenance schedule and make a checklist...

Since your having them look @ all the tearly service items have them pull the outdrive and check the alignment of the gimble bearing to the motor if there any other ? go up to the adults only section of this forum and download the service manuals for your outdrive and motor all the yearly servicables are in there as well as a troubleshooting techniques.
