taking on water!

Hello I have a 99 gen 2 merc dripping water out of the shift cable on top of the intake what can I do to stop this? Is there a seal bad or something? Thanks

Ayuh,... You need a New shift cable,+ it's bellows...

I would check exhaust manifold - riser - gaskets make sure its not squirting on to the shift cable. Good luck

The water inlet O ring is damaged or missing.Happens installing the drive.
