Taking on water from the outdrive, this is a photo looking from the engine toward the transom
It's a good stream coming in, what are the most common causes?
U Joint bellows?
Shift bellows?

As a rule if the leak stops or slows down when the drive is down then its most likely a bellows probably the shift bellows.
When you take the boat out to inspect it tilt the motor all the way up and you can inspect the bellows.

Ayuh,..... Generally speakin', if yer gonna change a bellows, ya change ALL the bellows, 'n the lower shift cable, ALL at the same time,.....

If ya use the trim stop switch, 'n trim indicator, ya oughta change 'em also, at the same time,...

Would you guys stick with quicksilver parts for the bellows? If so who has the best deal?
