That guy, Dr. Harold Edgerton, is extremely well known in the photography community. He was all about high-speed photography. You probably don’t realize it but in your lifetime you have paused to look at some of his other work. A couple of his more famous images are of a bullet piecing a balloon; the bullet having been shot thru the balloon and the balloon is yet to deflate. Another of his famous photos is of an apple being pierced by a bullet. In both images the bullet appears to hang in mid air. He also photographed projectiles flying out of cannons.

When I was in the Army, I was involved in Nuclear weapondry. We saw all kinds of pictures that I have never seen sence. Some of the pictures fron Japan were absolutly amazing. One picture that stood out was a picture that was burned on a wall that actually showed people running.
