My wheel hub shattered on my boat trailer while coming home from a weekend trip to Salt Fork lake. The lucky part is that while traveling 70+mph there was no accident and of the 140 mile round trip it broke at about the nearest possible spot to a Tractor Supply, which carry the exact size hub my trailer uses. My wife dialled 411 asked for the nearest TS and luckily it was the next exit probably 4 miles or so. I left my trailer on the freeway went to TS got my parts. With in an hour we were back on the road.

Nope, sorry. This simply does not happen. For this story to be at all believable the TSC had to have been closed and you have to sleep in the parking lot.

I know I thought for sure it was done at first glance, but the axle was fine. crazy huh!

Just curious did this happen on interstate 71 just around Lodi, last weekend?

I was headed home and passed a boat on the side of the interstate, I thought to myself "thats a hell of a place to park a boat"

When I changed my bearings I put all the old hardware in a small plastic bag and put them in a storage compartment in the back of the truck. Just in case something like this happens, I have a set that I can put on to get me on the road.
