I should be on the water next weekend. I hope. The long term weather forecast looks pretty bleak, of course. I will boat until the middle of November, when the lake freezes.

Was just catching up TC..
Paint looks GREAT! And who sees orange peel when you are zipping by on the water? Your standards are much higher than anybody else that is going to see your boat in action buddy! ;)

Cool, good luck for next weekend!

Over here most of us stop boating when the water temperature gets below 15 degrees C, not that that happens much unless we get a really cold winter! Tough lot you Canucks! :D

Hey TC,
It really looks like you are moving right along. I wish i could get that far in a weekend. I keep stalling out. I get started and the wife calls. :(
Oh well, Looks like you should be able to hit the water soon, looking forward to seeing more pic's.

Well, things are coming along great but I had a visit from Mister Murphy. Now I've kept quiet about all you fellas that had issues with him, hoping to slip under the radar. But I guess it was inevitable. Nothing major. The two bow lights I bought are nowhere to be seen. I have the covers, because I painted them. I've been through all the areas in my shed where I kept all my parts...nothing. I've turned the whole place upside down...nothing. Anyway, I decided after having everything else done, wired, hooked up, installed, that I would fire up Miss Johnson. My second squeeze on a very hard ball broke the plastic nipple that goes into the hose. And it being Labour day, no stores are open. So, If you all don't mind, I'm sending him back to you....lol.

I didn't mean to submit that last one so quick...see, Murphy. Anywho, all came out okay. The seats are in, all hardware, power trim works. I just need to attached the controls and get some letters for my reg numbers and basically that's it. I just need to splash it.

A neat feature I added this time was a plug for my trolling motor.

She looks pretty good. I'm 90 percent overall happy with it.

She took quite a transformation over the years, but thanks to all you here, it would never have gotten done without you all. +

And the outboard and trailer too.

And in case your wondering, the outboard now is a charcoal grey with the interlux white on the hood with new decals.

Next, splashdown....

Gotta admit, at first I thought this project was unecessary cuz your boat looked great already but man you really kicked it up a notch! Looks great.

I need you come paint my outboard. Even my mechanic said "that thing needs a paint job". I said "would you paint an outboard before it was running 100%?" he said "no". :p Well now it's running great so I need to get out the rattle cans!

Thanks for all the kind words. It was trying at best and behind schedule. My own fault. It does look better than before but I"m still only 80% happy with it. But who knows over time. I'm sure I'll get use to it..lol. I guess we all are somewhat of perfectionists. lol.

TC,
Did you find those lights yet? look behind the computer or in the fridge by the beer. :D:p
They will show up in some of the strangest places.
The boat, motor and trailer really look great. Well Done.

You are setting traps for yourself TC! I did the same thing with my bedroom sheetrock. I spent so much time working out my joints, ripping them apart and redoing them. The wife finally made me paint the room and I'll tell you what, I'm just fine with it. Anyone who's been in the room compliments me on it, and I'm the only one who knows where the defects are. The longer I sleep in there, the more of them I forget about :D

I guess what I'm trying to say is, GO ENJOY THE BOAT! :p

To be honest, I think Murphy lives with Kev. So be careful, he must be travelling from Florida to Newfoundland, and all points in between. Darn thing is like the tooth fairy.
