Re: Tank killing

Have you ever stuck your cutting torch in a drum of water and cut through from the inside out? Its tricky but it can be done!

Another tip here on safety - If your removing valves on flammable cylinders or fittings, you should use a non-ferrous tool. This removes any chance of a spark.

Bondo,
I was going to let this slide but your remarks were very condescending. I admit to having no practical propane experience, only passing along what other's experiences have been. I meant no harm.

Just exactly what are your propane credentials?

Re: Tank killing

Anything to do with explosives/explosive materials/weapons etc causes injury and/or death if handled incorrectly. It's an area where experience is part of anyone's (who works in the field) credentials. We used to have a saying in the Air Force that one year of front line experience is worth ten at college. Makes me wonder what Red Adair's credentials were... a bucketload of experience I suspect. This is the opposite of the corporate world where credentials are measured by how many masters degrees you have. Just my 0.02c.
