Tanzer 16' sailboat

I am interested in purchasing a Tanzer 16' sailboat, but the boat does not have decals or registration numbers on the hull.
The HIN #T1671486. any suggestions as to my purchasing a sailboat without decals and numbers.

I don't understand your concern. I'm assuming the seller has current title listing the HIN. That's all you should need to obtain a new title and registration number.

I see you are in Texas, and I do not know the laws there. But in here florida, if it is powered by sail or human powered, it does not require title or registration. Could be the same there.

In texas everything needs a title over 12'......
This was a sweet deal for $550....
But the boat has no hull numbers and has never been registered in any state......
The trailer has no numbers on the side of the frame.....
I'm leaving this ghost ship and trailer alone....
I'll offer $100 to him.....after the first year I'll have to register in texas.....
The boat will be junk on the shore of Lake Tawakoni ....
Perfect sailboat for 2-4 people wide beam.....shallow draft...lots a sails...
