TC-W3 2cycle oil

Can you use johnson or other TC-W3 2 cycle oil in a 1990 225 hp johnson outboard. I'm not sure what the TC-W3 stands for. Thanks for any info.

TC-W oils are the oils for water cooled ( W ) Two Cycle ( TC ) engines.

3 is the latest specification

So yes TCW3 oil will be the current recommendation
