Nothing out of this world, pvc standard material, the floor lateral retainers do look awfull and basic. No much or vague info on their page, factory assemble views seems poor. One more of the Asian builds with fancy & eyecatching name.

Re: Teamextremeinflatables

I just spoke with Paul the owner, very nice guy all boats are hand made in California, cold welded, carbon fiber transom. He invaded me to fly out so he can show me around his shop stated he builds boats for the navy and he has some ready to be shipped off that he can show me. This boat I want he say will take 115hp max. He stated to me zodiac Was in there a couple weeks ago because they want to use some of his technology in their boats. He can do hypalon too. All built to customer spec. 18 foot starts around 7k and goes way up depending on options

The whole thing seems fishy to me. They appear to be a brand new start up with no history at all.

Re: Teamextremeinflatables

Personally don't have any issue with Asian sib/rib manufacturers, assumed and stated "One more of the Asian builds with fancy & eyecatching name" because of very poor info on their web page. If it were my bussiness and very proffessional about my products as to produce for the navy, would state that on the web page under "about us" information issues which don't have.

Anyway, is 7 K a 18 footer hypalon boat ? If you say he has new ones ready, try one and decide, it's much better than to buy blind through the net and receive a surprise  Why do you want to have a large one with a powerfull engine ? Have read are no good for towing, skiing, just for going extreme.

Re: Teamextremeinflatables

They are part of Thunder Duck...I guess the name change is some sort of marketing tool. They aren't bad boats and they have been around for awhile. Since racing inflatables never took off in the USA I suppose they are trying to find other niches to plug the designs into.

Thunder Duck name is a legend among inflatable race (sport) boats.

It's interesting that they are made in California...It's interesting that they are made in South Africa. But it would be more interesting to find out when California was annexed by South Africa. Not that I am against that...In fact, I would be in favor of it:)

There are tons of South Africans living abroad including me. Many with a lot of skill. Not sure if that includes me.

Braaivleis, Sunny skies and Chevrolet (You will need to be South African to get it)

Ja nee man, a couple brandies & coke soothes the nerves then a few lions, Castles topped up with a couple glasses of hanepoort and you will be lekker soos a krekker.
