Does anyone know where I can purchase a manual for this motor. Would like to have something to go by then just tearing it apart.

I have a original sears manual like this one, got it for 10$ on ebay...I also have Eska's attempt at Tecumseh manual but the sears is much better, you can use parts tree or pats small engine for part no.'s and diagrams alot of parts are NLA, be careful with the needle bearings
and I'm not recomending this seller's product.

hey i just bought an old alumacraft I'm restoring that came with the teddy ballgame circa 72' that also came with the origional manual. I have a scanner and can e-mail it to u if u think it would help.
mine does not have the female connector for the fuel tank (nor ball so I bought a generic one) so is there any harm in eliminating the connector and going right from the carb into the line going to the ball? other than conveniance that is of being able to pop it off from the male connector coming of the motor.....

I use the free open office software because you can easily convert your scans to a PDF book, http://www.openoffice.org/ beats MS word hands down

ok great.............direct connect it is. I'll scan the manual and post it too. I also have the origional trailer manual that came with this setup. apparently it was a package deal from sears, alumacraft 14' with a 7.5hp ted williams and this really nice heavy duty trailer.
me and a buddy bought it for $375.
sold my restored from scratch 79 16' crestliner glass v-hull and rediculously great running chrysler magnapower 105hp this summer and have been jonesen for a winter boat project.
not much to the 7.5 and already have the trailer sanded, painted, new bearings, wiring, chains, wench rope and lights ......looks amazing for a 72'.
going to put a floor in and carpet, lights, compartments and trim paint the alumacraft.
has a nice little dent in the upper rail that someone put in it but I'm sure other than looking a little goofy should have no ill affects on the way it rides.
never had an aluminum boat before and am surprised how flexable they are.
