two questions and an update lol my project is coming together nicely almost ready to head back out on the water, not bad for my first ground up resto!
now onto the questions, I purchased the teleflex red international series 6 gauge box set, my boat originally had 5 guages fuel, tach, temp, volts, and speedo. my first question is the teleflex box set has all those plus oil pressure but because my o/b takes an oil gas mix does this mean I cant use this guage? is there any other purpose it could serve? secondly are the wires coming out of the control unit from the sending units? its an older evinrude 85 horse by the way. also is there a way to put a tank on the engine and wut not to change it from taking mixed gas to seperate gas and oil? and my last question is the box set came with a pitot. when I went to install it today i realized it was backwards in that it moved freely back and forth but is upside down when you pull the plastic arm up to the right position it does not move at all whats the deal? anyone else had this problem?
