tell me about my motor

i just picked up a johnson 25 with good compression and good spark ...it wants to run but wont
do i just clean the carb or is there a kit i should put in it ? i know it will need a water pump as well
any tricks to geting it apart and back togeather ?
i have done pumps on mercs but never on a johnson

That's a 1976 Johnson 25 hp.
Run it with 50:1 fuel/oil mix with TCW3 certified outboard oil.
