tell tale hole (weep hole) on 1986 Merc Mariner 75

This is starting to bother me just because I don't know what is right. I have a 1986 Mariner 75hp outboard, which has a small pipe that I would think was a weep hole. I don't get a stream out of it, just some trickles. Yet, I've been out 8 or so times and ran for long periods without any problems.<br /><br />I blow alot of water out of what I consider the exhaust outlets, and the water is warm so I know it is getting through the system.<br /><br />Is that normal? Some outboards seem to shoot a jet out the back (mostly evinrudes) Is mine clogged? Thanks!

Pull the hose off the outlet fitting on the inside of the cowl and see if its plugged or pinched off
