I will be at Lake Powell. Here in AZ the month of May is usually warm and one of the driest months of the year, but we have a crazy storm system coming through right now that will drop temperatures into the the upper 60's. I know that I am spoiled by the dry weather, but this is really out of the ordinary. I am bummed about the weather, but not enough to change my plans. Sunday is supposed to be partly cloudy and Monday will be sunny. Have a safe weekend everyone.

What Gary said; too many idiots on the water and at the ramp.
I think I'll just stay home, got some free tubing, maybe work on Duster roll cage, maybe not; maybe replace voltmeter in boat, maybe not.
Maybe just take a break, for a change, and fack off all w/e. Watch the birds or something.

Re: Tell us where your boating this weekend

I have 4 days off and I am fishing 2 of them!!!( I have the best wife ever!)
Bottom of a local dam tommorro, pike, walleye, bass, cats, great fishing but its like a fish bowl, right in the middle of a city.
Then Tue I am doing my favorite trip of all, drop my buddies truck in Bristol Indiana and launch at Mottville Mich and float down, takes 8 hours and the river is totally undeveloped almost the whole way, big cats, tons of smallies and I am getting paid to fish,SWEET.

Maybe take the video camcorder down to the local boat ramp for sh!ts & giggles.. last week a guy forgot to put on his e-brake,, truck & trailer went under.. had to get a diver to hook up cable & a tow truck to pull it out.. seen it happen last year too..

I went 2 weeks ago, got to the launch,1 pulling out-2 waiting to get out-1 waiting to get in and me, figured I would take a nap while they all loaded/unloaded, I about fainted when I had my boat in the water within 15 minutes, never seen 4 people at once that all did it right, very pleasant suprise.

Upper Chesapeake around Havre de Grace (where the boat is slipped). I'm taking the 14' flats boat and a kayak just to make SURE I don't get bored.....

lime4x4- if you're in my area Sat thru Mon, call my boat on VHF 16/09.

Re: Tell us where your boating this weekend

Looks like I'll be doing all my boating in the bathtub. :(

Last sand on my hull today, and the first coat of paint. :D

Spent six hours in a garage that is one foot shorter than am tall. My back is killing me now!

The good news is it has to dry for 36 hours before I can put the next coat on, so tomorrow I'll just kick back and look at what a nice job I am doing. Well nice compared to how it all looked a month ago anyway.

No where!!! Lakes are way to busy around here. Just getting over a bad bug too. Good time to just relax.

the weather does not look good for the north east unless you like boating in thunderstorms.
