Is there any difference bettween these two parts aside from the $100 and the electrical connector type.

Sierra International TS25101
Quicksilver 48952

The 48592 is a temp alarm switch. and for some reason costs about $100
As far as I can tell the TS25101 is the same thing with a flat blade connector and costs $20

The 48952 switch specs
150 to 170 degrees and lower it should open
190 to 200 degrees and above it should close

The Sierra is same as Stuart Warner 83304 (SW probably makes for Sierra) has spec listed to close at 200*F

P/N 83303
Edit disregard 83303 its 1/4 npt so won't fit

This is great information, thank you, so the SW83304 should work fine, and those are available for ~$30 or so

Thanks

I'm not afraid of Sierra parts. I suspect many are sourced from the same place as OEM.

Depends on what it is, but I use sierra a lot. I just couldn't find a direct cross reference. Thanks again for the help!
