1993 OMC Cobra 5.0 l EFI/MPI
The last couple of times out my temp guage starts acting up once the engine is warmed up... I always start the boat and go park the trailer (wife stays with the boat), it warms up while I am parking. Once under way, the guage starts getting a little "jittery" and starts going down in temperature until it goes to "zero" and stays that way... Is there a test for the sending unit? Can it be replaced with any sending unit? Anyone know of a good source? Also, I have never run a boat on muffs... I have a set... Do you turn the water on before starting the boat? I want to do some testing in the driveway... I know on my jet skis, you have to get the engine running first... Thank you!
