i want t install a temp gauge on my 66 rude 40 hp but i want to know the temp it should be on or around for normal and what is it if she is running hot ?

That would be farheit. That is known as texas heat

Yup - at 135-145 Celsyus,I think your aluminum cylinder would be melting in your hands
