Do the wires attached to the temperature senders on either side of the thermostat housing just unplug? They have what look to be molded rubber 90 connectors, but I am unsure if they pull out or not. I gently pulled on one of them and it seemed to "click", but I just pushed it back on before I broke something.

Thanks

Re: Temperature sender wiring

yep - pull em right off

the ends "slide" over the stud on the senders

one is for the guage (solid tan) - the other is for the warning horn (tan/blue)

I wish I was there right behind you the exact moment when you pulled on that wire and felt the click. I would have yelled and I bet you would have jumped ten feet in the air. :D

Thats pretty delicate if you just pulled on it hard enough to feel just one click...

Re: Temperature sender wiring

Like I said, I just did not want to pull on wires without knowing the connection.
