i was looking around for a temperature sensor as my force doesnt have one and i cant find one that would be long enough to reach from the power head to the console. i would say i would need at least 9-12 feet to be safe. is there one this long?

You should have one. ?

Should be a sensor directly on the head, should be a tan wire if original, maybe orange if not original.
Should connect to tan wire in wiring harness, run up to the dash/controls, then connect to a buzzer.

Complete L-drive wiring diagrams are in the Clymer Force repair manual, pages 607 and 608.

i need to get one of thos manuals if the compression test comes back good on this unit. so there is no guage? i see where i could put a guage but there is no wire, i see the buzzer under the dash but when i hook it up it buzzes as soon as i turn the ignition on. whats up with that?
