How difficult is it to install a temp gauge on my 1996 75 HP Force Motor. The Exhaust port on the back of the motor doen't spilt a lot of water and I'm worried about overheating.

There is a threaded plug in the top of the block, by the thermostat housing, which can be removed, and the sender installed in it's place.
You can also remove the standard alarm sender in the block, with a temp gauge sender, but you would loose the alarm feature (nice to have a a backup,or when you aren't looking at the gauges).

In fact, it is far more important to have the alarm than the gauge, for that reason.
