And here's the view of the Temple from our AIR CONDITIONED ROOM.
Don't know if we really needed it, it only got up to 113*.

The only time we saw any cops was on the first day when we got there on Monday. And they were pulling in and calling it a day (or the week, for that matter) at 1 PM. Didn't see any more for the rest of the week.:p
They're were probably resting for this weekend!
Stay safe everyone!

Nice pic. We spend a couple days a week down on Sandy Cove. Yesterday was beautiful. Blue sky, calm water and the views of the surrounding mountains were breath taking. The puppy got his exercise running and swimming up and down the beach. The Mrs was relaxed. The boat was gently rocking with the wakes. We definitely felt a little closer to Heaven. :)

We'll be there early August . . . Can't wait. 20 year old has reserved his first Houseboat and we are going to day hang with him. He'll be over by Mushroom somewhere.

How was the ramp?

Ramp wasn't to bad. They had the metal grate laid down so no unsuspecting holes and such. As far as depth, I only had about a third of the front tires underwater and the boat was floating. Now the dock, they moved over to the right side of the ramp so when you launched and there was no room, you had to drive your boat over to the other side. That wasn't a problem for us because of the time frame we had went. Very light traffic. Plus we had rented a slip for the time we were there. It went up $5 this year to $25 a day. Which still isn't bad to be able to just drive your vehicle down every morning, untie and go.:D
