Temporary Carpet Solution?

My carpet was shredded, so I tore it out. I'd like to enjoy the boat this summer and replace the deck over the winter. Any advice on fixing the carpet to the deck in a temporary manner? This way, I can pull it back up, replace the deck, and glue it back down for good over the new deck...<br /><br />Thanks

Glue it down, just use about 25% as much glue as you would if it were permanent.<br /><br />No matter how you hold it down, you're going to want to replace it anyway.

2" double stick carpet tape, maybe??

I agree with thunder. 2" double back tape around the edges will hold it fine and be easy to remove later.
