Terrible,terrible Memorial weekend

Well we had big plans for the weekend. I was going to take my boat and family to Norris lake. Her brother and his family was taking his pontoon and a guy from work was renting a cabin and was going to have his boat and family there. I spent all day friday buffing and cleaning the boat. Friday night around midnight I started having extreme pain in my left side and back. Went to the emergency room and found I had a kidney stone. It is 7mm big. The hospital gave me pain medicine which made me sick. I was sent home with pain medicine and told to contact my doctor on Tuesday. So instead of spending the weekend at the lake I have spent it curled up on the couch.

Sorry for the pain. Kidney stones really suck.
It could be worse, though:
"3 dead, 1 missing in Dallas-Fort Worth lake accidents"
Sometimes it's better to miss the Memorial Day madness on the lakes..

That's a bummer. I had one that was about 3mm but it still hurt like hell. Luckily I got shot for the pain and it passed in a couple hours.
We got out on our lake today for about 5-6 hours and had a good time. Boat ran well and had our first trip out this year. You'll be out there soon.

OUCH!!! Sorry you are sick. Hope the doc can break it up so you don't have to pass it whole. OUCH!!!! Good luck.

Ah man that sucks I had kidney stones, it was the worst pain I ever felt. And on top of that you missed an outing on the boat, double bad. Well I hope you get well soon.
