Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

It has EVERYTHING to do about the Duke case. It has EVERYTHING to do about our being sold a Bill of Goods to invade Iraq. You are far to willing to believe what you are told that you refuse to THINK for Yourselves. And you call yourselves Americans. Shame On You!

From the Duke case to the War in Iraq, my how we leap from the topic to something that you like to blame President Bush for. I know, he knew all about the 6 and was going to let them kill the soldiers.
Have some more kool-aid my friend.

All you see is two's, Plainsman. I see that two two's equal four. The subjects are the same. Only the characters are different.

Rule Number One: Always assume a gun is Loaded.
Rule Number Two: Always assume the drain plug is Out.
Rule Number Three: Always assume what you are told is inaccurate until it is proven otherwise, and then Verify the proof.

The first two I've always survived by. Pity that I've had to come to accept the third lately. :(

And once again, this has what to do with the topic willy?

I'm sure that the wanna be killers will get their day in court and will probabally file a civil suit and win. So you can sleep better, ok?
Sorry I'm not as trusting as you are to terrorists. Why not go down to gitmo and bake 'em a cake?

If they're proven guilty, string em up. IF! I'd hoped we'd all have learned about Lynching by now. Apparently not. :(

Rants over. ;)

I think we have learned willy. But I wouldn't let Jeffery Dahlmer (sp) out on bail once they caught him. The same applies to these terrorists. 3 are here illegally, think they'd show up for court? Put them in a call with Bubba until their trial.

In this great country people are innocent until proven guilty.
I have no idea what sort of evidence there is or whether this is another over zealous agent trying to make a name for himself.Nor do I have to.
That is what the justice system is for.

SHOW me the proof. Right now all we have is accusations. Even then, if I ain't on the jury, it ain't my call. That's how it's supposed to work. But when the Media gets hold of it and MISinforms us for the sake of ratings, we ALL suffer the consequences. Don't let Media Hype shortcircuit Jurisprudence. Trial by Media is not anywhere in the Constitution, but you'd think so given recent history.

Oops, we're onto page two. I guess I'll have to learn the Quote thingy sooner or later. I was responding to the last post on page one.

Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

Not my call, Plainsman. Thank goodness! I'm getting enough heat as it is. (and loving it ;))

I read that one of them is here from Yugoslavia. I'm a little rusty on my Geography, but didn't Yugoslavia cease to exist a while back? Didn't we almighty free-worlders kinda split that up in the Balkan War? Wikipedia here I come...

Addendum: I'm back. Yup, it's history. Seems some journalist and his editor are a bit behind on their Geography too. So much for the unmitigated reliability of the Media.

Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

I've been too busy to follow the forum, but stay tuned to this post, as details of Hilary Clinton's connection to these men may be forthcomming. I've NO time to research today, but to tease y'all, she may have (not AT ALL to her knowledge, of course ) helped alqueda out here with "the village" scheme, 1999... And I submit they may not have been able to setup shop without her.

I have NO idea BUT if you recall we busted cell phone resellers LAST year as terror supects

And they were just doing the american thing buy low and sell high

While it does not look like this in this case who knows

So i will let a judge decide about bail based on the real facts NOT the news FACTS

Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

I'm new here so probably shouldn't dive into the treacherous waters of a hot non-boating debate, but what the heck.

WillyB, I get what you are saying in as far as some facts as reported could be off. In the couple minor news stories I've had firsthand knowledge of the newpaper article invariably gets something wrong. That said, I DO feel better that these guys are off the streets no matter how they were caught. I can't imagine you're saying you would feel better if they weren't, just that let's not string them up in the streets till we run the evidence by a judge and jury first. I'm fine with that, but if the facts check out as reported...throw the book at them. I am a little amazed the first I've heard of this story is on a boating forum!...I'm not sure if that says more about me or the news...I try to stay pretty informed though.

By the way...the article quoted in the first post of this thread did not report some were from Yugoslavia...it reads "The defendants, all men in their 20s from the former Yugoslavia and the Middle East, include a pizza deliveryman suspected of using his job to scout out the military base."

Now back to Smart Tabs!

Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

Here.... I'm sorry for the post-n-run (kinda).. I'm still chasin fire lines down here near my project, and the wind was not my friend today. I haven't had time to FORMULATE my own opinion yet, even on this data I'm linking you to here. This is in-depth, time-consuming, and VITAL data in the war on islamic terror, and as such, requires carefull scrutiny. After all the enemy is always going to try to attack us on sovereign soil, and as history prooves-out, military bases are not the only targets.

Know your enemy -- even the ones who wear tacky pants suits.

Hillary Clinton's article in "Talking It Over", May 5,1999

CNN,06-06-99 Fort Dix speeds up relocation of Kosovo refugees

The Gihaad on Fort Dix

Refugees arrive at Fort Dix - June 7,1999

The refugee location (the camp at Fort Dix) was renamed "the village," in honor of Hillary. Here.. another clue; this Yugoslav website talking about "white Al-Qaeda," and it all ties back to the Clinton administration bringing 20,000 Kosovar refugees into the country in 1999.
Thanks, Clinton.
To blindly-defend these mutant scum without all the data is about stupid.. Either that, or about allegiances.

Re: Terrorists strike close to my home.

Ok Willy, I guess I will wade in on this one. I know your favorite editors try to keep all mention of race or religion out of their news reporting unless there is some bad news about Heterosexual Caucasion Males or Christians to bash. Hard to tell why you are so bent about this news story. We are now discussing the risks we all face from Radical Islam which is VERY HEALTHY. When a Muslim shoots up Jewish ladies in Seattle, or uses an SUV to run people down in SF or also tries to kill students with a SUV on the right coast, or shoot up a mall in Utah the MSM, (your favorite movers of public opinion), do all they can to surpress the story. The MSM editors you luv are very good at forming and moving public opinion, and dumbing down Democrat voters. I find it refreshing that they reported this incident. I agree with you that the justice system needs to ultimately sort things out. As to the Duke case, hammering white uperclass males is great sport and fits their adjenda spot on for your favorite editors. Nice try to attempt to stiffle this news story, (which does not fit their adjenda at all). I for one, am glad it blew up in their faces. This great Country has been put to sleep by your favorite editors. We are at the brink of humiliating all our allies, and helping our Muslim enemies as the Democrats work closely with our enemies to get our guard down, and make sure no one will ever fear us again, (or trust us in the case of our allies). All you have to do to defeat us is blow up a few inocent people, (which is very hard to totally stop), and the MSM will bring us to our knees. Reporting the news so we can decide is very healthy. That is why the Fox news you so much detest is soooo popular, and your MSM buds are headed for the terlet, (hard to stop that trend Willy). This Country has stumbled and will likely suffer a lot from their damage. Respectfully JR

It just doesn't make sense.....
Why choose a military base as a target?
I would have expected something far more cowardly from terrorists......;)
