I just installed a new faria trim gauge on a Johnson 150 and as soon as I hooked it up it pegged the needle as far up as it would go.
I moved the trim arm on the engine up and down a bunch of times and the needle still stays up?
The trim gauge said omc on the box and I got it from a Johnson dealer..
he said it was euro but said that only meant it had a black face but I'm not sure that means the resistance is backwards?
How do I test my trim sender?
