Does it just cut right out, or does it start to bog down before it dies?

Have you tried the fuel bulb trick to see if it will continue running? As this would indicate a fuel delivery issue.

Re: testing on dig.ohm meter

it was running out of fuel.right before it died i felt bulb it was soft.pumped it and it started.so i took line off motor.pumped it.it was ok.then took fuel filter pump off ,tested it it was ok.but i tore it apart n made sure everythin was clean.cut some of fuel line off where clamps were and now it runs great and fuel bulb stays hard.
