Testing overheat horn

Well, if you did not actually put a light or meter on it to check for power, and you did not use a meter to determine if your ground is good, then I cant make a determination.

I think, once you find out the cost of an OEM buzzer, that you will decide to confirm the diagnosis.

Since it is so damn hot out, I've been reading. I saw on another boating forum where the guy took out
his horn, tested it in the shop on a fresh battery. Black to ground and (his horn was marked positive on one lug)he put power to that and got nothing, put positive to the other and got the horn! So.....I climbed up in the boat, snipped the ground wire, put a bullet connector on it ,unplugged the purple and tan wires and brought them in the garage. Since I don't have a spare battery, I used a battery charger......nothing, put positive on either post and got nothing. Bummed
