I got my merc 1150 tb fired up sounded pretty good. I now have the steering controls to tackle. It turns pretty decent to the right, but to the left is pretty stiff. I looked for some grease nipples somewere but didn't find any. If anyone can suggest anything i would apreciate it.

Try disconnecting the steering at the motor and see if the motor will turn both ways easily. It might be time for a new steering cable. I had one that was frayed and it did the same thing.

There is a grease nipple on the upper midsection. Grease should come out the top and bottom swivel bushings
