I've been on the site for one year now and figured it was about time I expressed some gratitude for all the great help I've gotten from the nice folks that make this place the best boating site on the web.

I've asked silly questions, posted some questionable comments and tried to help out when I can

I second that. It's a great site with great people. I would never have done what I did with my boat without the help from this site.

I'd say we're all one big family as long as none of you feel offended by the statement

Seriously, I get help from folks here and I feel obliged to pay it forward. It's just the way it should be.

And while we're talking about folks helping out, what about all the time you've poured into the brochures thread and trying to help folks identify what they have. I remember not too long ago lots of those posts going unanswered in the Starcraft forums.

i second that Love this site. Loads of great information, community of helpful folks who in turn make you want to help others (even find myself trying to be more helpful to other boaters at the docks too if they need a hand)

Throw that in with the Dockside Chat, and I've found my addiction
