Just wanted to thank everyone who posts on this website. I had motor problems and posted plus did some searching through the forums, my motor is running like it was brand new now. 1976 Johnson 70hp, problem was I was getting spark on the 2nd cylinder but it wasn't combusting in the chamber. I went through the basics, compression, coils, carbs, and come to find out the guy I got the motor from had hooked the 2nd cylinder coil up to the first cylinder coil on the powerpack due to the terminal of the 2nd cylinder going out so the two cylinders were firing at the same time. Replaced the power pack and now it runs great. Thanks again and keep the posts up.
