Re: Thanks for all the help from a new boater!!!
Thanks Guys it was actually allot more in need of a good detailing than we originally thought. We first got estimates on professional detailing but ended up deciding to do it our selves because we are very picky or as my friends call me Anal-Retentive PITA. Besides we have been in cleaning business for over 17 yrs.
We did entire detail over the weekend & spent around $300.00 on equipment & supplies which was allot cheaper than estimates & we also can use in the future. We used the ShurHold system of products which worked well on everything accept the interior vinyl. For that I researched here & found most really like Mr Clean Magic Erasers which made the vinyl look almost new since the ShurHold stuff just didn't cut it.
I do have 3 or 4 small fiberglass nicks that will need repaired by a pro since I have "0" experience with fiberglass repair. Also somehow the Aluminum Prop was damaged so I purchased stainless replacement.
Also I need to repair the skeg damage & re-paint the Alpha 1 drive I guess. Looks ugly IMO now the way it is. Thought about skeg guard but after researching here decided will repair instead.
I also received a new Fusion Stereo system for Xmas that I still have to fit & install. The 6" speakers were to big so had to buy 4" unfortunately. So I plan on cutting the 6" into the Bow area & adding a small Sub. I am no longer into everyone for miles away hearing my stereo as I did when I was younger.
I agree! The trailer looks like it needs some work, though.
I'm surprised by this opinion I thought the trailer looked better than the boat
