ODDD1,Thanks for the information on the spark plugs for the Force 125.I used the plugs with the gap.The engine runs great now. What is the purpose of a surface gap plug?My ignition has the black coils and boxes so I could use either plug,I guess?

Thanks again for ALL of your help,Joe

Herb, a surface gap plug runs very cold compared to normal gapped plugs...so under very high temp conditions inside the cylinder they will not promote pre-ignition...inthe same conditions the side electrode of a gapped plug will overheat and cause preignition/detonation. Thats why i asked how you would be using the motor and a choice was given......if your gonna put alot of heat in the motor you gotta run surface gap plugs......
