Fired up the 60 Merc 400 for the first time today. It was pretty smokey though. I also didn't see much water through the tell tale hole. i\In fact I can't even locate the tell tale hose. I have a manual and can't find it on the parts list. <br /> http://media.putfile.com/Merc-400-up-in-smoke

I have the tell tale working now. Found the hole and cleaned it out. The 60-61 merc 400 doesn't have a hose thopugh it is just a hole in the block that lines up with a hole in the lower cowling.
