Thanksgiving preparation?

I am not prone to media hysteria but I started shopping for Thanksgiving dinner a week ago. Have the turkey and some components going to pick up some more this week. Going to be a close knit my kids, my grandson wife and myself. Awesome Wednesday till Friday morning celebration at the lake. Is there a better holiday than Thanksgiving?

I went to the Walmart pharmacy the other day to pick up a couple things. While in the store, I recalled the turkey shortages from news reports, so I swung over to the meat section.

There were only FOUR turkeys in the store! I promptly grabbed the largest one, a 15 pounder, which is large for us. More leftovers for me!

I'm contemplating going back this week and getting the rest of the stuff and maybe another turkey for Xmas time.

The wife has been getting stuff. I've been to busy to even get out bowhunting! I hope to get out rifle hunting.....

Making another run to day to get the non perishables have not had a problem getting the brands I want. The gatorade G2 and Zero shortage is frustrating.

Didn’t hear about a turkey shortage . The Admiral wants to fry one . I had better get one then .. She said there was plenty at the gs on Friday ..
