I took my 15' fiber tri-hull out again and like an amatuer (which I am) tried to pull up to the dock on the port side to let my wife load up. I managed to scrape the side of the boat against the only spot on the dock that wasnt covered in canvas. It left a foot long gouge about 1/2 inch wide along the side and the fiberglass is exposed. What do I use to patch it? The fiber wasnt damaged, it is superficial and just the outer skin(?) but I dont want it to get worse. There is a foot long crack in the bow on the top next to the nautical light and I need to repair it also, but it is a clean break and not exposed to water often. I will get a fiberglass repair kit for it but not sure what to use for the new ouchie.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Eterry
