Puddle Jumper's thread about his boy got me thinking we need a thread to brag about our kids.......My 9 yr old boy, Kyler is freaking awesome. Anything he tries he is good at its almost a litlle scary.......Here is Vid of him playing the drums at 8yrs old

( My Battery was dieing so only have about a 1/2 min but you can get the idea.) He plays guitar, bass, drums and at the age of 9 can hold his weight playong paintball with the big boys.We home school him and the program we use is a very tough one to pass and he is in the A- to A range......Oh I have more kids so I reserve the right to talk about that later :D

My 11 Year old is one kick arse baseball player. This season he played, 2nd, short and center for the All-star team. Lead off for every game, and he can lay a bunt down for a single better than any kid in the league. He's pretty fast and a smart arse like his dad too, so he was driving the opposing pitchers nuts. Really fun to watch :D

That was about a yr ago so he has gotten quite a bit better. Funny thing is, he thinks of himself as a guitar player and in truth is about as good at playing guitar and bass as he is drums.........Due to his natural musical ability we are pretty sure he will grow up to be an accountant or something :)

The 11 yr old made straight A's in 5th grade, hit great this year in baseball (including hitting in the tying run in the playoffs), shot his first deer, leared to water ski, and is looking forward to football.

The 5 yr old won numerous beauty pageant titles and seems to be the star of the show everwhere she goes. She tells the best stories ever and can draw much better than her old man. Recently fractured her arm, cried a little, next two days finished swim lessons then we took her for xrays and found the fracture.

The 1 yr old is the cutest baby I have ever seen (no bias eh?). She also won numerous beauty pageant titles. Walking all over the place now, loves to play with everything, sleeps thru the night.

I consider myself to be the luckiest man alive!

Mike, I played drums for 7 years in junior high and high school and your son outplays me when I was at the top of my game.

Keep him going.

LOL . . . :D

The big guy's band has broke up :( We'll see about the future for music with him. One of the guys on our houseboat trip is a very talented drummer, so maybe there will be a new band in the future. Who knows?

I am blown away by your 9 YO. Wow!! Keep the calculators away from that one. I don't care how messed up he gets . . . that one needs an axe or sticks in his hand.

Hey Ken I have played in bands that the drummers only wished they could do what he does........Its a sorse of never ending parental pride that we recieve whenever we go into a music store and he sits down to a set......people come from all over the store to see him play..........

QC, my oldest ones band Here I Come Falling is touring big time....may even make it big. Talking to some pretty big labels........ but my boy met a girl in Jan. and soon after he was no longer in the band, engaged and well 8 months later they are now married and Im gonna be a Grandpa..........I would rather have a grandbaby then a rockstar son anyday so it worked out great as far as Im concerned. He is a stand up guy who will make a great dad. Heck they( Our oldest ones) are young right? Im just hittin my peak. I probably could make it a touring band.......If I wanted to be broke, hungry sleeping in a van or bus with 5-6 other smelly, dirty people.......Hmmmmmmm I think I will pass that up :)
