Announced this morning, Penske enterprises is purchasing the Indy Motor Speedway as well as the Indy Car Series.

Since he owns Indy and the IRL, do ya think the fix is in for his teams?

He can't do worse than the Hulmans. CART just about destroyed open wheel racing in the US.

I don't think Roger would do anything to hurt either series, he is a motor head at heart and has devoted his life to racing, but the key is he is a very smart businessman and I believe that will be the cream that comes to the top again in American Motor Sports.

Please don't ruin indy and go to that stupid nascar format.I enjoy indy racing just as it is and will watch it over nascar anyday.I was a huge nascar fan from the 70,s till they ruined it with the chase.Havnt watched it for many years.I now follow real racing such as indy and f1.

Sorry, but Formula 1 is not real racing anymore. It's nothing but follow the leader with little or no passing. Ecclestone and the FIA ruined it,

Roger had nothing to do with the changes to Nascar, that was the France family that did that along with the competition directors.

I wasn't inferring he did MT.Just hoping he doesn't think its a good idea.I love indy just as it is .The only thing I might change is adding more races and maybe try talking ford to bring their eco-boost tech to a team?Also wish tv would show more gt and touring car racing on the tube.Heck even the micra cup series would be fun to watch.Wish Rodger all the luck in the world.

I like Indy car, I even weathered their growing pains and hated it, I am glad to see it get back to more of what it was. I heard some information that Roger paid well over a billion dollars for both the track and the series, I cannot even fathom that kind of money and I am not 80 years old!
