when i bought my boat 2004 rinker 270 fiesta vee it had a brand new merc 5.0 in it but got a good deal no power it was a slug last year i put a 383 mercruiser stroker in it now its a mf rocket stock is 5.7 even that engine can't push that boat the rinkers are under powered we all know that even your 24 foot should have the 5.7 but if u change it spend the money on a 383 its not much more money make sure u get a bigger gas tank tho
