i put my boat in the shop because i was having carb issues, the machanics cleaned the carbs, changed filters, plugs, and new gas. pretty much cleaning the whole fuel system...when i picked it up it started like a champ... i went for a sea trial that same day, got to the dock it started just fine, went for a 20 min run everything was perfect. i turned the boat off for about 10 mins, and when i went to restart, boat did not fire....tried everything, choking, advaning throttle, and nothing. needless to say i was towed in. i get home and decide to try and start it, sure enough it fires right up. makes absolutely NO sense, and sure can use some assistance.

machanics are stumped, and everyone i ask has no clue.

thanks

Not sure if this will help or not but I have experienced a simular issue only losing 2 or 4 cylinders. It was the power pack, when the engine got hot two would drop out and after it cooled off they would come back. Good luck

Did you check for spark? Sounds like its time to find a new machanic too. Ingition problems are sometimes hard to find, and act differant when hot and under a load.
