I bet its not just the battery, if you look closely you will find the scratches he has caused on the boat. I would say at a minimum he owes you a new boat! :D :D :D

Working in the plumbing and heating biz myself I have ran into many people.
Things removed from toilets.
1 toys
2 silverware
3 whole potato
Things removed from heating systems
1 toys again
2 everything mom couldnt find
3 drugs/needle's even
4 furnace filter in blower cause it was plugged and sucked in
Things removed from myself attempting to do service calls
1 gloves (dog yanked it off me)
2 tools stolen
3 pant leg (yet another dog)
Things removed from owner
1 toilet flushes issues resolved
2 kitchen disposal less 10 pounds of potato peelings
3 furnace filter from blower motor so the 20 below days the house will heat
4 there money removed for work. funny how people get literally pissed when parting with money WHEN THEY CALLED US!!
So many stories to tell about, washing down the basement of a 10 story very nice building with a fire hose cause of sewer back up. they complained I turned off the water to stop more waste water coming down. The waste was coming on 3 floor shooting out of a toilet. Had 3 guys with 40 gallaon wet vacs todo damage control. called another comopany into power blast sewer drain as we were over invovled in damage control. All this while they said we couldnt haul the 40 gallon wetvac tanks down elevator, we were told to use the steps. I told the guys to sit and watch the damage till they change there mind(these tanks are to heavy for stairs) good grief! Remember I said 3rd floor toilet and basement cleanup. this had flooded thru 4 floors allready.
