The Deal

I sit at my desk with a big smile..... I made a deal that is paying off...

On November 20 2006 my first granchild was born...... being the nice father in law I am..... I told my son and daughter in law how proud I was.....

Now that my grandson was almost 1 hour old I asked my DIL when was she going to have the next one! My DIL responded when I quit smoking and I told her "it's a deal" and shook hands on it.

Every time my DIL has left my home she gives me a hug and I always leave her with these parting words.... "remember the deal".....

This morning I got a telephone call and my DIL asked me if I remembered the deal?

Proud to say..... Grandchild #2 is on the way... and should be in the summer!!

I would say I may a good deal!

When GC #2 comes around, I'll buy one myself to celebrate your good fortune. Any excuse to have a fine cigar is a good excuse (drives the wife mad, too)

Still don't smoke and out of Chantex for over a week now. Oh yea, good luck with the grandkids. Wish my grand perents were still here...ANIMAL
