So, you want to exclude the reason they won congress and question everything else? The democrats ran on a very specific "change." That "change" was a new direction in Iraq. Being the conservative you are, I guess I understand how you missed that one. Ignore the obvious and everything is wonderful again.

Hey CJY, Liberals are great at both mind reading and redifining what conservatives state into their own confused style of thinking. My statement was about the state of matters in the would today from the U.S. of America's perspective. On balence, (as the start of this thread pokes at), things are going fairly good. I stated: (with the notible exception of Iraq). I know many Liberals want a replay of the mid 1970s where they cut off our allies and we suffered a horrible defeat. Democrats owned both houses of Congeress and brought in Jimmy Carter, (those were the days). I hope we don't go that way, but I fear we may. Respectfully JR

CJY, Rubber's NJ gas brought me to the dark side for a few minutes. Where do you find that I stated that conservatives don't whine and snivel from time to time, (I was speaking about Liberals based on their posts on this forum and elsewhere)? Hey OJ, that is exactly what I meant by "anything else." That is not what I meant by "stay the course," though.

The unique thing about it, is that it actually would accomplish as you have described in "stay the course."
"Stay the Course" just is not getting it done. Hard to believe you are still hanging onto that one. Even W has said it is not working to his satisfaction. You still believe it is? Come on OJ, catch up, time is passing you by.

Watch the address tonight. I bet you can count with less than one finger the number of times "stay the course" comes from the mouth of W. He won't say it.
