Re: The Eska Files

Hello, I would like to keep this thread alive also. Two years ago I acquired two motors. One is a Clinton J9 (?) the J is missing. S/n 90799 and a Sears Model 217-58543 3 HP. It appears at this point that the Sears may be the most promising to get running. It was exciting to find this thread and the wealth of information. Thanks to all who shared it. Hopefully I will learn a bit and be able to share photos and success stories.

I think I got it, sorry about that but I copied it from another forum I had posted it in and apparently what you see is not always what you get.

Thanks,

Pull start from a briggs an stratton engines around 70's - 80's maybe? its works the same way with the gear on the spiral looking thingy needs to be jerry rigged somehow. BUT there is a plus the holes from the bolts line up with some already on the engine on the 9.9/15 hp eska'sDSC09583.jpgDSC09582.JPGDSC09585.jpgDSC09584.jpg

this may have to be modified i'll get to this once i move to my new place. the 30x40 shop/man cave will have enough room
