So I started the teardown process today on this 1954 Hiawatha. The good, is that I have compression, a spark and nothing seems to be locked up. The bad is one of the coils has a broken wire and both coils are severely cracked. The parts. Are these relative easy to get? Anyway this one goes on the waiting shelf, maybe I will find a good coils while going through these other motors. Thanks. Jesse

I have one of those as well. Nice motor. Google "Laing's Outboards North Tonawanda, NY" He will have the parts.

The ignition parts are all available right here at iboats. We even get a free forum. Why go anywhere else.
