Hey angus im on the north shore by Smithtown, my shops in Bohemia

Hey Les Robb not worried about Bill, I'll just have to sic Sean Hannity on him  lol
Big Brother knows about just about all of my sportsman items , every one I have bought, went through the A.T.F. paperwork, the usual background check give SSN etc. No worries its our 2nd amendment right.
I actually worry more about my wife yelling that I bought another one than anything else  Although gota say she did let me buy a really cool 40 gun concrete lined safe/vault :D

pss Bob can you post a few pics of it ....have you finished working on that yet? cool little motor!

PSSSSS H I J A C K
Bob after reading your trailer resto, it motivated me to do my trailer...well it is DONE........thanks Bob!!!!!!
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=358028

Thanks vegasphotoman!:D I've gotten it running pretty sweet, but haven't finished the cosmetic restoration yet. Lack of time and funds has slowed me down recently, but things are looking better for the winter. I actually have pictures & commentary to add to both the motor and the trailer threads, but haven't gotten around to it yet. If anyone wants to see the motor a link to the thread is in my signature.

GREAT job on your trailer!! I'm digging the pin striping!:cool: Maybe when I gain a little more faith in my abilities I'll try something like that on my little trailer. Very nice work!

I have some old Pennsy stock certificates framed, but I think I'm going to pick up 1 or 2 of the B&O certificates to keep them company on the wall.

Re: The Hijack Zone - Zombies Welcome

Hijacked again! My Mantra as listed below

:D :) :p

The Man Rules
At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down
Finally , the guys' side of the story..
( I must admit, it's pretty good.)

Now here are the rules from the male side.

Please note.. These are all numbered "1"
ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Learn to work the toilet seat.
You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.
We need it up, you need it down.
You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon
Or the changing of the tides.
Let it be.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Ask for what you want.
Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!

1. "Yes" and "No" are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it.
That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are.
Don't ask us.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one

1. You can either ask us to do something
Or tell us how you want it done.
Not both.
If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings.
Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color..
Pumpkin i s also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched.
We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong
We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to,
Expect an answer you don't want to hear.

1. When we have to go somewhere,
absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really .

1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball
hockey Or golf.

1. You have enough clothes.

1. You have too many shoes.

1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!

Hijacking a Hijack - Today is gonna be bad
I have to go to the Bronx and repo one of my vehicles from an ex employee. Kinda feel bad for the guy but he's left me no choice and I feel worse for me. Guy hasn't come to work in 2 weeks no call no show, spoke to his mom and sister they don't know whats going on with him, I'm thinking drugs :(

HIJACK!

I dug some other stuff out that follow along the same lines as the railroad certificates mentioned earlier. The first is a Pennsylvania RR bill of lading from May 1936:
016-3.jpg

Here are 3 Government requests for transportation that were issued to PFC John Engle on July 7, 1945. They allowed passage on the New York, New Haven & Hartford RR and the Pennsylvania RR in a Pullman sleeper.I found these at the bottom of a box I won in a bulk auction for $1.00. I think they're pretty cool.

2nd HIJACK!!

I also like to collect old maps (actually prints of old maps 'til I come up with some more $$$:p). Here are a couple I picked up recently & haven't had time to frame yet. They're both bird's eye views of Philadelphia.

This one was originally done as a "supplement to Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper No. 1059"...whatever that is:

This was made for the Philadelphia & Reading RR in 1875:

Yep! I always make enough for several more meals.

And now back to your regularly scheduled OLD STUFF hijack!

A friend of mine just discovered a bunch of neat stuff while cleaning.

A WWII flyers helmet:

Re: The Hijack Zone - Zombies Welcome

Hey Vert, I didn't I got to go back tomorrow. the truck is at his moms house in the back yard. I had talked to his sister yesterday and told her I can't help her brother anymore cause he is not letting me or helping himself. She said she didn't blame me they know I did all I could for him and her mom would be home to go get it. When I got there no one home gate locked:mad: .I called repeatedly, and waited till 5:30 , no one showed up home.I would have clipped the lock and taken it but I don't feel like winding up in jail for breaking and entering. My partner that I brought with me (Vinny no neck ) had to get home for a dinner reservation with his wife.

Ive tried to be nice now that's over, after I finish the house I have to do in Centereach tomorrow morning, I'm going back to the Bronx trying to call 1 more time. If unsuccessful, (which im assuming its gonna be) Im going to the 43rd an going with the cops to get it.

News flash His mom called while I'm typing this, she says she will be home tomorrow and she is sorry she wasn't home That I can come and get it.
Here we go again .

Hey BWR seeing your photos reminded me, I have the same WWII helmet along with a jacket and hand held crank air-raid siren at my house upstate. Im gonna grab them while im up there next weekend and take some pics.
Funny story on the siren, my mom used to use it to call us for meals up there back when we were kids :) . Seeing those pics brought back some real good memories of simpler days :):)

Hijack

My husband was up on the ladder yesterday and dropped his paint brush on Sam's head. I think he looks like Paulie off The Soprano's.
